A fast and tasty Asian inspired side dish. Portobellos and green beans are seasoned with sesame seed, honey and tamari for a flavor packed side dish or a perfect garnish for a rice bowl.
Remove the stem and cut the mushroom cap in half. Slice each half into thick slices about 1/2"(1cm) and place them in a large bowl.
Remove the dry end and cut the beans into smaller pieces of about 1" long. Add to the bowl with the mushrooms
Measure and add the following ingredients into the bowl with the mushrooms and mix well. Set aside.
Combine both ingredients in a small bowl and mix until well incorporated. Set aside.
Add the oil then preheat the pan to 425°F/ 220°C (high).
Add the vegetables and cook for 7 minutes or until the mushrooms and green beans are slightly brown and cooked through.
Turn the heat off, transfer the cooked vegetables into a bowl and set aside.
Drizzle in the honey and tamari mixture and mix well. You can add some toasted sesame seeds if you desire. Serve while warm.
